J46 Painted Beech Dining Chair in Bottle Green by FDB Møbler

Bottle Green lends the J46 dining chair a classic, saturated note, emphasizing the slim spindle back and shaped seat of Poul M. Volther's familiar design. Its proportions remain neat enough for a kitchen or dining table that sees regular use, while the painted beech introduces color in a controlled, architectural way. This listing is for one chair, distinct from the discontinued two-chair set that previously appeared in the catalogue.

“A deep green chair often feels entirely at home beside flowers, old silver, and cream linen. I would let the J46 serve as the single strong color in a small dining room, or repeat it around a scrubbed wooden table where its spindles give the arrangement a pleasant rhythm.”
-Mrs. Mayfair
