Roses Still Life Art Print by Splendus

Pale pink and white roses gather in a glass vase in Roses Still Life, with a muted background allowing the petals to hold the light. The floral subject feels generous without relying on brilliant color, making it easy to place among patterned fabrics and older furniture. It brings a lasting bouquet to a bedroom, dressing area, or sitting room, particularly where softer tones need a little depth behind them.

“I like roses painted against a darker, softer ground. The petals seem brighter for it, and the picture can sit comfortably beside fabrics with more color and pattern.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

CARE & OWNERSHIP

Choose a spot away from direct sunlight, damp walls, and strong changes in heat or humidity, so the print can be enjoyed for years to come. Handle unframed paper by its edges with clean, dry hands, and have it framed behind suitable glazing before display. Keep moisture and cleaning products away from the printed surface. For canvas, lift away settled dust with a clean, soft, dry brush; avoid rubbing the surface or using liquid cleaners. Dust the frame gently with a soft, dry cloth. Where glazing is present, keep cleaner on the cloth rather than spraying it towards the artwork.

MAKER / HERITAGE

Splendus is an artist-led studio that brings together original work and a curated collection of art from different periods. Its fine-art reproductions use giclée printing and archival media, with a choice of papers and framing treatments across the collection. The result offers a way to collect images for their character and their place in a home, from a single small drawing to a generous landscape.
