J52B Painted Beech Dining Armchair in Black Green by FDB Møbler

The Black Green J52B brings Børge Mogensen's broad Windsor-influenced chair into a darker register. Tall back spindles, pronounced arms and a shaped seat make this one of the more substantial dining chairs in the FDB family. The near-black green finish brings quiet definition to the form while preserving the friendliness of the original outline. It is particularly effective when one wants the end chairs to have more presence than the side seating.

“I like the almost-black greens because they are less severe beside living greenery than absolute black can be. This J52B would have beautiful presence at a dining table with a simple linen runner and a vase of branches. The armrests lend it an inviting, settled air.”
-Mrs. Mayfair
