Amalfi Hand-Painted Small Serving Bowl in Rosa by Piano Piano

The Amalfi Small Serving Bowl in Rosa carries blush-pink ornament around a gently rounded interior. Its smaller serving scale makes it useful for vegetables, fruit, or a side dish beside a larger platter, while the pale earthenware ground keeps the decoration light. Made and hand-painted in Italy, the bowl adds a softer color to the table without requiring delicate food or a formal occasion to justify its place.

“I would use this pink bowl for an everyday side dish as readily as for berries. A useful piece should not need a special menu simply because its color is soft.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

CARE & OWNERSHIP

These pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe. For a gentle wash by hand, use warm water, mild detergent, and a soft sponge. Let hot ceramics cool before rinsing, keep abrasive pads away from the painted finish, and settle stacked pieces carefully so their rims do not knock together.

MAKER / HERITAGE

Piano Piano’s tableware is individually handcrafted and hand-painted by local Italian artisans on the Amalfi Coast. The wider ceramic tradition of Vietri sul Mare reaches back to the Renaissance, where clay, kiln work, color, and hand painting developed into a distinctive regional craft. Each Piano Piano piece retains the small variations that come with work finished by hand.
