Amalfi Hand-Painted Pitcher in Rosa by Piano Piano

Tall and hand-painted with pink botanical scrolls, the Amalfi Pitcher in Rosa gives a practical table vessel a softer decorative character. The curved handle balances its upright form, while the pale earthenware ground leaves the brushwork easy to see. Made in Italy, it suits water, juice, or lemonade at the table, then a few loose stems on a sideboard when its serving duties are done.

“I like a pale pitcher with flowers that do not hide it. A few branching stems would leave space around the handle and allow the pink painting to remain part of the arrangement.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

CARE & OWNERSHIP

These pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe. For a gentle wash by hand, use warm water, mild detergent, and a soft sponge. Let hot ceramics cool before rinsing, keep abrasive pads away from the painted finish, and settle stacked pieces carefully so their rims do not knock together.

MAKER / HERITAGE

Piano Piano’s tableware is individually handcrafted and hand-painted by local Italian artisans on the Amalfi Coast. The wider ceramic tradition of Vietri sul Mare reaches back to the Renaissance, where clay, kiln work, color, and hand painting developed into a distinctive regional craft. Each Piano Piano piece retains the small variations that come with work finished by hand.
