Amalfi Hand-Painted Dinner Plate in Rosa by Piano Piano

The Amalfi Dinner Plate in Rosa brings pale pink botanical painting to a full dinner setting. Leaves and scrolls move across the earthenware surface and around the border, giving the plate detail without a strong contrast in color. Handcrafted in Italy, it is particularly appealing with white linen, light wood, or a darker table that gives the soft pattern a clearer outline; individual hand painting keeps the service from feeling uniform.

“I like a pale pink plate against something with a little weight, such as dark wood or a firmer linen. The contrast lets its softer color hold its own.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

CARE & OWNERSHIP

These pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe. For a gentle wash by hand, use warm water, mild detergent, and a soft sponge. Let hot ceramics cool before rinsing, keep abrasive pads away from the painted finish, and settle stacked pieces carefully so their rims do not knock together.

MAKER / HERITAGE

Piano Piano’s tableware is individually handcrafted and hand-painted by local Italian artisans on the Amalfi Coast. The wider ceramic tradition of Vietri sul Mare reaches back to the Renaissance, where clay, kiln work, color, and hand painting developed into a distinctive regional craft. Each Piano Piano piece retains the small variations that come with work finished by hand.
